Ocean Reserve is the blend that ships inside the Pendant. Most marine fragrances smell like blue detergent. This one goes the other way. It opens with cold sea spray, dries down over sun-warmed driftwood, and finishes on aged amber. That is why the pod is amber and not blue. What is inside it is a resin-heavy marine accord, closer to a men's eau de parfum than to a car freshener.

A car parked in the open in Delhi in May hits 55°C on the dashboard by noon. That is where most hanging fresheners either evaporate in a fortnight or soften and drip. We built for that condition first, then everything else.
Heat chamber, 14 days
Pods held at 60°C continuously for two weeks. The jelly matrix softens but holds shape. No rupture, no seepage through the membrane, no staining on the test surface below.

Questions people actually ask
The fragrance is called Ocean Reserve but the jelly is amber. Why?
Because we did not want another blue detergent smell. Ocean Reserve is a resin-heavy marine accord: cold sea spray on top, driftwood and cedar in the middle, aged amber at the base. The colour of the jelly matches what it actually smells like, which is closer to a men's eau de parfum than to a bathroom cleaner. If you want a bright aquatic blue scent, this is not it.
Will it really last 30 days in Indian heat?
In most cars, yes. Scent life depends on cabin size, how much you run the AC on fresh-air mode, and how often you drive with the windows down. A hatchback with recirculation on will comfortably cross 30 days. A large SUV driven eight hours a day with the windows open will run shorter. If yours dies early, the 30-day guarantee covers you.
Can it leak on my dashboard or seats?
There is no free liquid inside it to leak. The fragrance oil is held in a cross-linked jelly matrix, so the pod is a solid block, not a container of perfume. Invert it, shake it, drive it over broken road. It stays where it is. That is the single biggest reason people switch from vent-clip liquid bottles.
Is it too strong? I get headaches from car perfumes.
It is strongest for the first two to three days, then settles into a steady, low background level. If you are fragrance-sensitive, hang it on a rear headrest post rather than the mirror for the first week. Most headaches from car fresheners come from cheap sweet synthetics at high concentration. This is a dry woody-marine blend at eau-de-parfum grade, which sits much softer.
Do I need to buy the holder again every month?
No. The Pendant holder and its braided cord are permanent. When a pod finishes, you pop it out and click a fresh one in. That is why the multi-packs are the sensible buy: you are only paying for fragrance after the first one.
Can I put a different fragrance in the same Pendant?
Yes, and that is the idea. The Pendant is the hardware. Ocean Reserve is the fragrance loaded into this pod. Every pod we make uses the same fitment, so when you want a different scent you buy the pod, not another holder.
Will it fit my car?
It hangs, so there is nothing to fit. The cord loops over a rear-view mirror stem, a headrest post or a grab handle in any car sold in India, from a Swift to a Fortuner. It also sits fine in a wardrobe, a locker or a small room if you want it somewhere other than the car.
